Passport, Visa and certain Miscellaneous Consular Service (Issue of Birth Certificate, Issue of Marriage Certificate, Issue of NRI Certificate, Attestation of Documents after notarization, Attestation of Power of Attorney after notarization, Issue of Police Clearance Certificate, Attestation of Driving Licence) applications should be submitted to the following authorised Passport and Visa collection centres :

S$9.00 per application would be charged by Passport/Visa collection centres as service charge in addition to prescribed passport/visa fees.

Interview at High Commission of India, Singapore is mandatory for non-Singaporean Business-visa applicants whose stay in Singapore has been less than 2 years. In the normal course you will be informed of your interview date and time at the time of application. In all other cases we will be informing you if an interview is required

OTHER CONSULAR SERVICES

Applications for Consular Services relating to attestation of documents, power of attorney and affidavit by Indian passport holders are accepted between 9.15 am and 11.30 am (Monday- Friday) at High Commission of India.

Processing time is normally two working days. Please check on the day for collection when you submit the application. Collection time is between 4.15 pm to 5.15 pm.

3) You may directly approach any of our outsourced agents (as listed in the website) for routine queries relating to Visa, Passports, etc. In case you need further details the outsourcing agent will fix an interview date and time for you to meet visa or consular officer in the High Commission. The interview would normally be fixed within 5-7 working days at the latest. You may also email to us to fix an appointment to meet the officer concerned at the email address mentioned above.

4) Emergency cases: Indian nationals facing an emergency may contact telephone number 62382538. They may also visit the High Commission without appointment during working hours but please do bring your Indian passport for identification purposes.

Please note all passport, visa and consular services are discretionary and can be refused without assigning any reason. Furnishing false particulars or concealing information can lead to denial of service.

Visa services will not be provided if validity of passport is less than six months. Please ensure that at least two blank pages are available on the passport when applying for visa.

Please ensure that your application is accompanied by all the required documentation, including the required number of photographs where necessary.

Please check the spelling of name, dates, etc. , in the passport/ visa or other documents carefully at the time of collection of document from the centre. While every care is taken to ensure that there are no mistakes, however, it is advised, the applicants must check, before leaving the counter, all filled in details on the passport, visas and documents are correct. In case any error is detected it should be promptly brought to the notice of the concerned officer.

Applicants for travel documents in lieu of lost/damaged passports may approach High Commission.
